After my life partner Muriel passed away on Sunday, September 5, as most of you know, your expressions of both sadness and fondness have helped tremendously. Our forty-plus years together have seen both highs and lows but never dimmed the glow she seemed to exude. She died peacefully in her sleep and in no pain. To say she was a special person would be vastly understated. I will be forever grateful that she chose to share so many years with me. When we first met, I didn’t know what real love was all about. She taught me through example, as she did with so many others. Count yourself blessed if you were one.
