Murat Emiroglu Sr. A.K.A. « The Trash Man », of RR1 Elmwood, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at Hanover and District Hospital on Thursday, February 18, 2021. He was 58.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey on July 28, 1962 to the late Suat and Birsen (nee Hosan) Emiroglu. Murat Sr. married the love of his life Angela (nee Rea) on July 11th, 1987. He will be remembered as the owner/operator for Grey Bruce Trash Taxi as well as driving for Kunkel’s Bus Lines. He would always bring a smile to your face and easily made friends wherever he went. Missing his cuddles and treats are his « four legged » loves Daisy, Maverick and Sophie.
Devastated by his loss is his devoted wife Angela (nee Rea) Emiroglu of RR#1 Elmwood. Loved father of Murat Jr (Dominique) Emiroglu of Hanover and Angelica Emiroglu (Trevor Bragg) of Port Elgin. Best grandpa to Venee, Abby, Mylah and Emma. Fondly remembered by his father-in-law Malcolm (Lorene) Rea of Milton, brother Erol (Andrea) Tamer of Cambridge and brothers-in-law Paul Rea of England and Mark Rea of Cambridge. Murat was a great friend and will be missed by many family, friends and especially by Darlene, Alexandra and Jordan Rea of Cambridge.
A Private Family Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home. A Private Family Graveside Celebration of Life will be held at the interment in Hanover Cemetery. A public Celebration of Life will be held at a future date if the pandemic restrictions allow.
Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
