Mosher – Sandra Jane. 78, of Liverpool, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool on Monday, March 15, 2021.
Born in Orillia, Ontario, Sandra was the youngest daughter of the late Aubrey “Bob” and Elva (Peach) Fox.
Sandra was a member of Zion United Church where she served in the UCW, as a Sunday School Teacher and as a former Elder for many years. She was employed as a cashier at the Liverpool IGA for many years, retiring from the Liverpool Superstore in 2001. Sandra enjoyed knitting, quilting, reading and spending time with her family. She loved cats and will be missed by Teddy and Toby. Sandra was a beautiful woman who gave endlessly of her time and love.
Sandra is survived by her son, Bill; son-in-law, Wade Everett; grandchildren, Kelsey and Aaron; sister, Barbara; brothers, Gordon and Bob.
Besides her parents, Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Arthur and a daughter, Katherine; sisters, Clara and Nellie; brothers, William, Henry and Lawrence.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool. A graveside memorial service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Zion United Church Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool, Reverend Carol Smith officiating. Sandra has been fighting breast cancer since 2006. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cancer Center in Halifax at the QE II, the staff at the Chemotherapy Department at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater and to all the staff at Queens General Hospital, Liverpool for making things a little easier. A special thank you also to Dr. Morash, Dr. MacMullin, Dr. Gowan, Natalie Brooks , V.O.N. and homecare. Without your help, Sandra’s battle would have been much more difficult.
