MONTGOMERY, Stanley Arthur

On May 29, 2021, Stanley Montgomery passed away at his home in Kelowna, BC at the age of 82. Born in Minnedosa, Manitoba, Stan had three brothers, Bob, Reg, and Bruce, and three sisters, Margaret, Debbie, and Sandra.
In his early years, Stan and his wife, Donna, purchased their first business, an A&W restaurant, and eventually they went into the hotel business. Stan was passionate about boxing and was a light-weight boxer. He had a sharp and witty sense of humour that we all appreciated and was passed on to his children. Thirty-five years ago, Stan moved to the Okanagan to retire.
Stan is survived by his daughters Colleen (Richard), Christine (Paolo); son Ross (Shelley); grandchildren; great–grandchildren; and great-great–granddaughter. Sadly, Stan was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen.
In accordance with Stan’s wishes and Covid-19 restrictions, a private family gathering will take place later this month.
