It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs.
Minnie Elizabeth (Boyne) Foss of Tracyvillle NB, on August
5th, 2021. She was 93. Born
in Wembley AB, she was the daughter of the late George and Rosella
(Williams) Boyne.
Minnie was a proud member of the New Maryland United Church,
Fredericton Garden Club, Botanic Garden Club, Town and Country
Knitters, the United Church Women’s Group. An avid
gardener, she loved being outdoors. She also was an
incredible seamstress and enjoyed quilting, knitting and
embroidery.
Minnie will be deeply missed by her children; Pauline Thomas
(Steven), Isabell McDonald (John), Dixie Lee Butler (Andrew), Sandra
Foss (Anthony McCarty), R. Douglas Foss. Grandchildren; Jodi
Lamey (Kevin Moore), William Lamey (Alice), Michael McDonald, Daniel
McDonald (Pam), Bernard McDonald (Judy Laaper), Amanda Butler, Jack
Vanderhorst (Rachel), Connie Babineau (Rob), great grandchildren;
Nicholas Earle (Ryan), Taylor Moore (Charles Hoquet), Natasha
McDonald, Christopher McDonald, Bradly McDonald, Katlin Gallant, Liam
Vanderhorst, Lauren Vanderhorst, Nadia Babineau, Vincent Babineau and
Courtney McDonald, great-great-grandchildren; Lucas Cusask and Nathan
Caterini. Sisters; Margaret Foss, Lydia Drost, Sylvia
Goodheart (Christopher). As well as many nieces’ nephews and
cousins. She also leaves behind special friend Berniece
Murphy.
She was predeceased by her husband Ronald Foss, daughter
Wanda Foss, sisters, Katherine Lehr, Georgie Boyne and Lauretta Boyne,
brothers, Silas, Arthur, John, Robert, Walter, Tom, Fred, David, and
Edward.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock
Road, Fredericton
on
August 8th, 2021, from 12-3
PM. Funeral service will be at the New Maryland
United Church on Monday August 9th, 2021, at 2
PM with Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke officiating. Interment will be
in the adjoining cemetery.
For those who wish memorial contributions may be made to the
IWK or the New Maryland United Church.
Bishop’s Funeral Home have been entrusted with the
arrangements.
