Millie’s Obituary
Bertha Irene Mildred (Millie) Slusar (nee Orr, nee Brown) passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 98 years in Peace River, AB. She was born on April 26, 1923 in Binscarth, MB to John and Georgina Brown. She was predeceased by her parents; 4 sisters; 5 brothers; her grandson, Sean Burch; husband, James Elmer Orr and 2nd husband, Clifford John Slusar.
Millie is survived by all of her children, Terry, Jack, Myrna, Delpha; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother, George of Vancouver, B.C. and sister, Evelyn of Rose Valley, SK.
A Memorial is being planned for a later date in Binscarth, MB.
Mom was a beautiful, strong and compassionate woman. She worked most of her career with seniors or disabled adults and was a very dedicated and capable worker. She was always a true champion of the underdog. You are always in our hearts mom, we love you so much!
