Obituary of MILDRED IRENE SWANTON
SWANTON, Mildred Irene (Holroyd) – Surrounded by her loving family at Stedman Community Hospice on Tuesday November 9, 2021, of Waterford at the age of 91. Loving wife for 55 years and best friend of the late Grant Swanton (2006). Daughter of the late James and Alice Holroyd. Loving mother of Roger (and Deborah), Robin (and Cathy), Cindy (and the late Robert) Schweyer. Very much loved by grandchildren Breann (and Mike), Vicki Lynn (and Matt), Christopher (and Erica), Todd (and Kerri), Sarah, Matthew (and Haley), Jesse (and Christy), Carolyn, & great grandchildren, Madison, Ava, Sydney, Chase, Cole, Quinn, Maeve, Olivia, Lucas, Kaleah, Aidan, Carson, and Charlotte. Near and dear to her heart, Melynda (and Jason). Predeceased by brother Selwyn Holroyd. Mildred was an active member of the Waterford Baptist Church, was very much involved in the music Ministry and volunteered for many years in music at Golden Pond. She will be missed by her many camping and walking friends. Her husband, family and music were her life. Family and friends will be received Friday November 12, 2021, at Thompson-Mott Funeral Home, Waterford from 2-5pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel Saturday November 13, 2021, at 11am, Pastor Rick Bellaire and Pastor Glenn Rider officiating. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Stedman Community Hospice or Waterford Bible Church.
