It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mildred Clarke (nee Rennie), of Little St. Lawrence on June 6, 2021 at the age of 89. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Alexander in 2015, her parents Patrick and Lucy Rennie, her sisters, Margaret Saint and Rita Rennie, her bothers Martin, Albert, Patrick, Bernard and George.
Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons Loyola (Sheri), Clyde (Alice), Larry (Connie), Vince (Shannon), her daughter Stella; 10 grandchildren Chris (Elise), Dayna (Andy), Jeremy (Jessica), Ashley (Stuart), Mallory (Brent), Kendra (Brian), Stephen (Krystal), Todd (Nicole), Matt and Heidi; 10 great-grandchildren Sophie, Alex, Clark, Beth, Naiomi, Isabelle, Connor, Corey, Olivia and Jacob. She also leaves a large circle of other relatives and friends, particularly at US Memorial Long Term Care Home in St. Lawrence where she resided for the last number of years.
She was a kind, hard-working woman, dearly loved a game of bingo and went to many a card game. She was a tower of strength for her family and for many others in the community. She never hesitated to share what she had with others in need.
