HOULIHAN, Michael Francis (Mike) (July 16, 1926 – April 1, 2021) – It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we the Family of Michael Houlihan of Flatrock, announce the peaceful passing of our dear Father in his 94th year.
Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (nee Power), parents Mary and John Houlihan; Sister Adelaide Hollinrake, Brother Thomas, Granddaughter Megan Stamp, Great Grandson Nathan and Son-In-Law Robert Parsons.
Left with fond and loving memories are his Children: Mary Gosse (Charlie), Annie Tobin (Ray), Catherine Parsons, Adelaide Smith (Paul), John (Dawn), Theresa Barnes (Dave), Michael, Adrian, Donald, Christine Stamp (Allan), Rick (Bonnie), Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren will remember and treasure his love and kindness, Brother-in-law Don Hollinrake of Maynard, Iowa, Dear Friend and Cousin Mary Roche and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Father was a proud member of UA Local 740 Plumbers and Pipefitters for 57 years.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will be missing many Family and Friends who together we would celebrate Father’s life. To honour his life please share a story of our many great times and remember him in your prayers.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation on Monday, April 5th from 1pm-4pm. The Funeral Mass will be by invitation only. You may view the livestreaming of the Funeral Mass by visiting the Facebook page of Holy Trinity, St. Agnes and St. Michael’s Parishes and click on the link on Tuesday, April 6th at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady and Lourdes Grotto or the Children’s Wish Foundation.
The family wish to extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. O’Shea and to the Staff of Chancellor Park for their kindness, compassion and care.
