Peacefully passed away on October 17, 2021 at the age of 89.Beloved husband of the late Concetta and caring and devoted father of Russ (Carmen). Proud Nonno to Michael (Amanda) and Daniel (Emily) and BisNonno to Georgia and Eloise. Michele will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of many family and friends. In Memory of Michele donations may be made to the Lung Association.
The family will receive friends at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home 211 Langstaff Road East (west of Bayview Ave.) from 2:00 -4:00pm & 5:00- 8:00pm on Thursday October 21, 2021. A Private Mass of Christian burial will take place within the funeral home in the Chapel of St. Joseph on Friday October 22, 2021. The final rite of committal and interment will take place privately at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street Thornhill). Due to Covid-19 capacity restrictions, friends may have to wait to pay their respects during the visitation period, we are inviting family and friends to a walk-through visitation only to pay their respects, offer condolences and then kindly exit the building to allow for others to enter.

We deeply apreciated your visit to Paris almost 47 years ago.
We used to discuss in Sicilian to avoid language barrier … more recently we discussed about everyday life or things from the past.
It doesn’t matter the distance…
Yes, you are loved .. over there beyond the Atlantic.
You ‘ve kept a very warm and affectionate smile, but it is your voice that I particularly remember.
