Peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Monday, December 13, 2021 proudly of Flesherton in his 71st year. Beloved life partner and best friend of Dorothy McPherson. Loving father Melinda Croft (Randall Madill) and John Croft (Robyn). Loved and remembered by grandchildren Michaela and Aaron Sadler, Ben, Eric and Seth Croft and their grandmother Wanda Gostick.
Greatly missed by brother Barry Croft (Lynn) of Markdale, brother-in-law Archie Dowker of Grand Bend, step son Brett Clubbe of Olympia WA and sister in law Cathy McPherson of Markdale.
Uncle Mike was a favourite to his many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and their extended families and friends.
Predeceased by his cherished sister Debbie Dowker, parents Ted and Muriel Croft of Flesherton, grandparents Elsie and Gordon Shaw, Ned and Marion Croft, spouse Diane Clubbe and step daughter Melissa Clubbe.
Mike is well known in the Flesherton area for being a hardworking, private and humble man. He had a talent of keeping in touch with those closest to him, be it business or personal with daily phone calls and the many Face Time calls. Mike’s vibrant smile expressed his love for life and how much he took pride in his children and grandchildren. He could always be found touring the farm with Dorothy and their chocolate lab, Porter. The founder of Fleshcon and Clearview Concrete, he was proud of the business that he and John built with the dedication and accomplishments of all of the employees throughout Grey and Simcoe Counties.
A private family service has taken place. A public Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Centre Grey Health Services Foundation
