Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on July 20, 2021, at 79 years of age. Loving husband of Kathryn (nee Szejbut) with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Dear father of Ian C. Morris (Isabelle), Michael B. Morris (Karen), Ann Morris-Kameka, and Ellen S. Vanier (Joseph). Treasured Grandpa of Brittney, Kassandra, Dustin, Bernadette, Brendan (Kyrie), Thomas, Katie, Faith, Michaela, Aidan and Emmarose. Great grandpa of Rohan and Shepard. Brother of Jim Morris (Colleen). Uncle of James, Anthony “Tony”, David, late Carl, Maureen, Adam, Kollene, and Peter Jr. Michael was a long time and devoted member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. # 201- Es; the Holy Name of Jesus Church and the Knights of Columbus # 3305 – Es. Michael and Kathryn loved to volunteer their time with many events with both the Knights and the church. They were a part of the first C.O.R. group at Holy Name. He also enjoyed serving with the Prison Ministry. Special thanks to support workers who have cared for Michael and have been kind to him over the years. Michael is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North Es on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Masks are required. Attendance is monitored to ensure capacity limits. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday at Holy Name of Jesus Church (146 Talbot St. S, Es) at 11:30 a.m. No visitation prior to mass. RESERVATIONS & MASKS are required for the funeral mass only by booking online at www.kennedyfh.com or by calling the funeral home from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Maidstone. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor/Es County. You may send your condolences online at www.kennedyfh.com
