Michael Barrett
1957-2021
At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 10, 2021, Mr.
Michael Barrett of Drummond passed away at the age of 64
years. He was the partner of Lisa Tierney. Born in
Ottawa in 1957, he was a son of the late John James and Mary Ursula
(Buckle) Barrett. He had recently moved to New Brunswick
from Ontario.
He is survived by his partner, children, James (Michelle
Gidge) of Grand Falls, Serge Cote of Moncton, Cheryl Adams of the
Bahamas and Theresa Judd of Alberta, five grandchildren, a brother
John Barrett and a sister Jane Dunphy (John) of Burlington,
Ontario.
A Liturgy of the Word Celebration will be held Thursday
November 18th at 4 p.m. at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle
Blvd., Grand Falls. The family will be receiving relatives
and friends at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m.
The ceremony will be live-streamed for those who are not able
to attend.
For those who wish, donations to an animal shelter would be
appreciated by the family.
