Menetta Isabel Head (nee MacNeill)
1922-2021
It is with heavy hearts we share with you the passing of one
loved so dearly by so many. Minetta Isabel (MacNeill) Head passed away
February 26,in her 99 year at the Kings County Memorial Hospital.
Minetta was born on October 19, 1922 and was the eldest and last
surviving child of Wilfred and Eunice (Gordon) MacNeill. She was
predeceased by sisters; Mildred (Robert Nelson deceased), Marion
(Melvin White deceased), June (Herb Glover) and by her brother
Lauchlin (Barbara deceased). Minetta was a loving wife of the late
William « Bill » Head (1985), and the dear mother of William
« Billy » deceased 2003.
Minetta
leaves behind to cherish her memory, the children of her siblings, to
whom she was a second Mom; Ron and Susan Nelson, Terry and Karen
(Nelson) Leverich, Gary and Donna MacNeill, Bob and Bonnie White,
Junior and Donna White, Greg and Esther White, Roger and Sharon
Nicholson, Colin Glover, Douglas Glover, Gordie MacNeill and Marion
MacDonald, Darin and Sherri MacNeill, along with many great nieces and
nephews. Especially remember by great nephews Jack White and Cameron
Glover, great-great niece and nephew Rosie Cheverie and Finley
Stewart. Minetta will also be deeply missed by her church family at
Murray Harbour Baptist where she served all her life, by her community
and by so many others whose lives she blessed. She will be remembered
for her kindness and her caring and concern for all and especially for
her baking.

3, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour
