May’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of May Dora Patey announce her passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, in Port Saunders, NL, on Wednesday September 8th, 2021 at the age of 89 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Ron (Olive), Tom (Nina), Elvet (Carol), Rosemary (Phillip), and Pam (Mick), her grandchildren; Linda (Edgar), Tom (Monique), Tom (Tammy), Kim (Ian), Sherrie (David), Megan (Justin), Brad (Mandy), Dustin, Amanda, and Brian (Morgan), her great grandchildren; Karla, Courtney, T.J, Gracie, Ava, Luke, Tiffany, Ryan, Keagan, Jack, Christopher, Kristan, Sophie, Mason, great-grandchildren Evan and Olivia, her nephew; Dan (Joan), best friend; Bessie, and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
May was predeceased by her husband; Leeland, her parents; Mildred and Forward Ayre, brothers; George, and Lionel, sister-in-law; Dorothy, and niece; Mildred Coombs.
The family will be receiving family and friends at The Pentecostal Church in Hawke’s Bay, NL, on Friday, September 10th, 2021, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Saturday, September 11th, 2021, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Sunday, September 12th, 2021, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Troy Russell officiating with the burial to follow at the Pentecostal Church Cemetery, in River of Ponds. Please keep in mind the Covid – 19 Government Regulations during the visitations.
We know that our grieving families still need to feel the same level of support from you their family, friends, loved ones and community.
