Obituary of Maurice Joseph White
Peacefully on Friday, October 22,2021 with his wife of 48 years by his side, retired Operating Engineer Local 793, Maurice White « Gros Moe » of Eastern Ontario passed away at the age of 67. Cherished husband and « Soulmate » of Elaine White (nee Barber). Predeceased by his parents Dulphy White and Agathe Cleroux. He will be sorely missed by his sons Jason (Mel), Neil, Kevin (Crystal) and his step-daughter Ovila Cleroux. Cherished grandfather of Kylah (Austin), Tyson, Jayden, Austin, Kaylee-Ann, Myles, Colton and baby-to-be. AKA, #1, Ty, Jay, Hamburger, Little Lady Bug, Little Gentleman and Pickle. He will be sadly missed by his brother Richard, and his sisters Bernadette Plamondon, Ginette Maheux (Jeannot). Predeceased by his brothers Ronald, Rodger, Joe, and his sister Carole, brothers-in-law Guy Cleroux and Rock Plamondon. He will be deeply missed by his brothers-in-law Dwight (Helen), David, Lloyd (Cheryl), and his sister-in-law Brenda. Fondly remembered by his cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who had the honour and privilege to know him.

At Maurice’s request a church service for family and friends will be held at Notre-Dame-des-Champs, 3739 Navan Road, NDC Navan Ontario, Saturday November 13, 2021, at 2 pm. As per the church COVID Protocols Proof of Full Vaccination and ID is required and masks must be worn. You must RSVP to attend the service, please Click HERE. Following the Service a reception will be held at the Sarsfield Community Centre 3585 Sarsfield Road, Sarsfield. Proof of Full Vaccination and ID is required as mandated by the Ontario Government.
In lieu of sending flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Maurice, may do so by donating to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society.
