Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Maureen Lenore (Barron) Campbell which occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 after a courageous battle with Cancer. Born 1964, in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of the late Addison and Kathleen Barron. Maureen worked as a Registered Nurse for Horizon Health for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting and adored animals, especially horses. Maureen loved spending time outdoors, going jeeping and spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Maureen is survived by her loving and devoted son Zach Campbell of Saint John; brothers Phillip Barron (Donna) of Hillsboro, Melvin Barron (Gabby) of Ontario; mother and father-in-law Mary and David Campbell; sisters-in-law Pamela and Patti Campbell of Saint John; brother-in-law Mark Campbell (Colleen) of Moncton; dog Fraser; her extended family including several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Maureen was predeceased by her husband Timothy Campbell.
A special thank you to Terry Beyea who was like a sister to Maureen and was by her side throughout her battle with Cancer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, November 3rd from 4 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, November 4th at 2 p.m. followed by an interment at Greenwood Cemetery. . Due to COVID-19 health measures placed on indoor gatherings, all those attending visitation and service will be required to wear masks and show proof of vaccination with a piece of government issued ID. Donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
