Pettit, Mary (Hewson)
Peacefully passed away, holding her daughter’s hand on Sunday, February 28, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Paul (2019). Loving mother of Jennifer and Allison (Steve) and proud grandmother “Gumma” of Cole and Brooklyn. Beloved sister of Catharine (Murray) and John and their families. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Gladys. Mary was a dedicated teacher, published author, had a passion for tennis, playing bridge, going to the gym and travelling to Florida every year with Paul. Her most precious times were spent down at the creek with her cherished grandchildren. As per Mary’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
