Obituary for
Mary Fee
Mary Helen Fee went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 20, 2021 at the Extendicare Timmins at the age of 85 years. She is survived by her sister Joan Green and her friend Marnie Huckvale of BC. She was predeceased by her parents Bob and Fern Fee. Mary taught elementary school in Timmins, South Porcupine and Schumacher for 35 years. She loved her students and was interested in direction their lives took them. She went to Japan three times to teach missionary children. Once with the United Church and twice with the Baptist Missions. She worked for her Lord and Savior at the First Baptist Church in Timmins for the Sunday school, Superintendent and many other jobs. She loved the Lord and worked to spread the Gospel. Mary leaves behind her extended family Catherine (late Don) McFarlane and their children Bob McFarlane, Deb Smid and Terrol MacIver. We would like to thank the Mattagami wing of the Extendicare Timmins for the love and care given to Mary during her 4 years there. She is now free from her wheelchair and is now dancing and singing with her Lord and is no longer in pain. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11:00am in the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home Chapel (Pastor Kevin Furtney officiating). Masks, social distancing and mandatory number of attendees allowed will be required. In lieu of flowers, remembrance donations to the First Baptist Church Food Bank, Parkinson Canada or the Gideon Gospel Mission would be appreciated. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 10-11am at the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME,
