Mary’s Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Mary Veronica Keough announces her passing at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre, Botwood, NL, aged 100 years, with her daughter, Brenda by her side.
She is predeceased by her husband, Bernard; parents, Dennis & Elizabeth Roberts; brothers, James (Kathleen), twin brother, John (Mena), & Angus; sisters, Julia (Ronald), & Bride (Chris).
Mary leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughter, Brenda; grandchildren, Nicole, (Roger), Robert, Hillary; & her furry friend Riley, who insisted on winning the heart of an elderly nanny who had no desire to receive an abundance of loves and licks from a fur ball, but quickly adjusted.
Along with her unconditional love for her grandchildren & Riley, she was an amazing lady in every aspect of life, she was the most loving, caring, gentle, woman who loved everyone she met. She had a special place in her heart for all her nieces, nephews and loved them like her own.
Special thanks to each and every staff member at the Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre. You are all amazing and your compassion & kindness shines through. You made this journey with mom a very comfortable departure. The compassion shown to me during the early hours of the morning was sure above and beyond the normal line of duty. You are amazing and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
As per request there will be no public visitation or funeral service. The visitation and funeral service will remain private for the family.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
