BARBER, Mary (Sheila) Barber –
Passed away peacefully at age 93 from dementia on Monday, December 13, 2021, at Malton Village Long Term Care facility. Sheila was born on October 1, 1928, in Glasgow, Scotland.
Sheila survived her parents, David and Alice Sillars, her brothers, David and Donald Sillars, and her sister Agnes (Nancy) Sillars.
She is survived by her son David Mackay and daughter Alice Sapusak, her grandchildren Colin Mackay, Robert Sapusak, Carrie Sapusak, Ryan Sapusak, Shannon Sapusak and her great-granddaughters Ashley and Athena.
Sheila was full of fun and loved people especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Malton Royal Canadian Legion Branch 528 for many years and a former president of that branch.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Malton Village Care facility for providing excellent care to Sheila, and the staff of the Newediuk Funeral Home.
