Mary Alvena Mulder (Cochrane)
April 7, 1934 – December 17, 2021
Peacefully on December 17, 2021 at Extendicare Red River Place, at the age of 87, Mary passed away.
Mary was born in Winnipeg, the eldest child of Nan and Earl Cochrane.
On October 4, 1952 she married Gerald Mulder. Together they ran a Market Garden and Greenhouse business in North Kildonan. After selling the business they stayed in North Kildonan and then moved to St. Andrews for their final retirement years.
Mary’s hobbies were flower gardens, camping and fishing with family, golfing with friends, knitting and curling in the winter.
The house on Henderson Hwy was open to all at any time for a visit, a chat and a drink. Family gatherings at holidays and summer BBQ’s are memories for the whole extended family and friends. Christmas especially made precious memories for all the children in the family. Christmas Eve and Christmas day were so special with all the family and friends gathered together.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, Dan (Tanis) Mulder, Jody (Ernest) Enns, grandchildren Alan (Jillian) Mulder, Brooke Mulder, Rachel and Sarah Enns and great-grandchildren Noah and Luke Mulder; brother Orin (Donna) Cochrane and many nieces and nephews.
