Marjorie “Marnie” Clark
1927 – 2021
Marjorie “Marnie” Helen Clark, wife of the late George Clark of Miramichi, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on February 12, 2021, at the age of 93.
Born in Millbank, on May 14, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel (Currie) Carruthers. She was employed with W.S. Loggie Shoe Store for many years, and was a member of Bethel United Church, in which she was a life member of the church choir and Ladies Orange Lodge.
Marnie is survived by her daughter, Elaine Dorbyson of Saint John; two sons: Kenneth Clark (Gay) and Wesley Clark, all of Miramichi; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, George Clark; son, Bobby Clark; sisters: Catherine Giggie and Pearl Valgardson; brothers: Blaine, Ervin, Woodrow and Walter Carruthers.
There will be no visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held in Moorefield Cemetery at a later date.
