Marjorie Joan Rossley, known as Joan to everyone. Rest in Peace with your beloved husband of 58 years “Bobbie” for eternity. Joan was born May 28, 1934 in Saint John New Brunswick, died March 23rd, 2021 in Barrie, Ontario. She passed, peacefully, with family attending. Joan is the youngest daughter of the late George and Mildred MacCollum. Loving mother of Jan (Rob), Joyce (Kevin) and Robin (Dianna) . Joan dearly loved and was loved by her grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Alexandra and James, and her great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ronald “Ronnie” (Louise) and her sister June. Pre deceased by her sister Viola. Joan Loved her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Joan loved a drive in Autumn, a sentimental song, any movie with Humphrey Bogart in it, a chic, classic ensemble, a robust, maritime lobster dinner. She enjoyed being alive and looked for the good things in life. No ceremony is planned in these peculiar times. For friends who remember her, please take a moment to think of those happy days in her long happy life. In lieu of flowers, please pass on some civility or kindness to someone who might value it. Joan received such gentle acts gratefully and would be happy to see more carried out.
