Obituary of Marion Frances Beaver
Marion Frances (Clowry) Beaver, of Canaan, peacefully passed away, just 28 days before her 71st birthday, on December 3, 2021 in the Valley Regional Hospital, with her loving husband of 47-years, James, by her side. Born in Wolfville, she was the daughter of the late Randolph “Buff” and Vera (McInnis) Clowry.
She was a member of the Hants County Cruisers and an avid genealogy researcher. Above and beyond the love she had for her family, Marion also treasured her time camping.
In addition to her husband, Marion will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Lynn Patterson, Berwick; son, David, who remains living at home; brothers, Michael (Charlene) and Murray (Robin); sister, Paulette (Fried), all of Avonport; brother-in-law, Vernon Walker; sisters-in-law, Kaye (Henry) Boersma and Lee (Wayne) Lowe; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; and special friend Jane Gaudet.
Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her nephew, Jake and brother-in-law, Rick Beaver.
A visitation will take place on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm, both will be held at the Serenity Funeral Chapel, Coldbrook. COVID protocol will be followed, please have proof of vaccination ready to show. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
