Obituary of Marie Cook (Baird)
Marie passed away peacefully at the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital with her loving family at her side on Thursday, August 5, 2021, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Cook. Dear and loving mother of Bonnie Kimmett (Steve) of Peterborough; Rob (Donna) of Newburgh and Randy (Michele) of Strathcona. Cherished grandmother of Kristie Jackson (Ken), Courtney Piper (Mike Green), Colleen Kimmett and Ben Cook. Extremely proud great grandma “Cookie” of Reid, Claire, Jane, Josie, Anna and Noah. Predeceased by her parents Marian and Wilfred Baird and by her brother Gordon Baird (Ann of Napanee). Lovingly remembered by her brother and sister-in-law Carl and Cathy Cook, and by many nieces and nephews and their families.
The family will receive friends at the Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 (613-386-7373) on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2-5 pm. Due to Covid, a private family Funeral Service will be held on Monday with Interment following at Camden V Cemetery. Memorial donations to Centreville United Church or the L&A Hospital Foundation will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
