God called Marianna back home on July 15th, 2021 at the age of 85. She is now reunited in Heaven with her husband Paolo, and many other relatives passed. Adored by her dear children Adele (Genaro), Victoria (Salvatore), Antoinette (Giuseppe), Vincenza (Davide), Antonio (Rosetta). By her many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be forever missed by her Brother, Sisters, Brother-in-law, and Sister-in-laws. She will be held dear in the hearts of her relatives and many friends, including her extended family at Casa Dolce Casa Retirement Home.
Marianna was a very hard-working woman who loved life and her family. She always had a smile on her face and loved to sing her old Italian songs.
Visitations will take place at the DeMarco Funeral Home (Woodbridge Chapel) (8003 Weston Rd. 905-850-9500) on Sunday July 18, 2021 from 1-4 & 6-9pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday July 19, 2021 at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church (2745 Jane St., North York, Ontario). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst Street, Toronto, Ontario).
As the restrictions and guidelines continue to lift, all family and friends are welcome to come to the Funeral Home during the visitation periods. There will be no RSVP needed to enter the Funeral Home. When coming into the Funeral Home, please sign the “Guest Book” and write your phone number down beside your name for contact tracing purposes, before entering our visitation suites. Our staff will be constantly sanitizing and monitoring the Funeral Home if any assistance is needed.
We kindly remind all guests who are coming to pay their respects, to always remember to practice physical distancing and to avoid all physical contact.
Please note that it is mandatory by the Government of Ontario that all family and friends attending any type of funeral service, must be wearing a facial covering.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the Funeral Home on the morning of the funeral, as we ask everyone else to please meet us at the church.
