Margaret ‘Tuttie’ Marie Boudreau

« Tuttie » Marie – 80, Canso, passed away on
Thursday, July 8, 2021, in Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso. Born in
Canso, she was the daughter of the late William and Eva
Feltmate.
Tuttie had 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who
brought her much joy. She loved to see their pictures and videos and
loved their visits. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Dart
member of RCL Branch 46, Canso for many years. She was often seen
sitting in the hall window at Pines Manor with her friends, especially
her best friend Jean Bennett. Tuttie was close with her sisters, as
well as many of her nieces and nephews. She loved to have a good time
and make people laugh. Tuttie supported many charities in the
community and was a member of the Star of the Sea Parish in
Canso.
She is survived by her daughter, Rose Boudreau; her son,
Jerome « Nipper » Boudreau (Ginny); sisters, Alice Pendleton
and Rose Krajewski; brothers, Douglas (Leita) Feltmate and Donald
(Sue) Feltmate; her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She
was predeceased by her daughter, Valerie (Boudreau) Roberts;
great-granddaughter, Olivia Casey; sister, Blanche Pelly; brother,
Richard Feltmate; brothers-in-law, Peter Krajewski and Jack
Pendleton.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Sunday in
Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, Canso. Cremation will follow the
visitation. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14 from Star
of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Canso with Father Jonathan Nnajifor
officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Donations may be made to the Eastern Memorial Hospital Foundation,
Canadian Cancer Society or Star of the Sea Building Fund.
