Marcel Rochon
The family announces with sorrow his death at the Temiskaming Hospital, New Liskeard, ON, on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Bernice Rochon (nee Puhalski) of New Liskeard. Dear father of Janet Stewart (Paul Guenette) of Smooth Rock Falls and Wendy Hulgaard (Jim Lefaivre) of London, ON. Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Mathiew, Jesse, Kevin and Dylan and great grandfather of Macy. Dear brother of Jean-Louis “John” Rochon (Donna) of Elliot Lake, Lise Adams (late Max) of Nebraska, USA, Laurent “Larry” Rochon (Lorraine) of Timmins, Suzanne Rochon of Timmins and Murielle Rochon of Val D’Or. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Mathias and Gabrielle Rochon and by his sister Juliette. Marcel worked at Kidd Creek for 32 years. He enjoyed his sports but his greatest joy was spending time fishing with his grandchildren. Due to covid restrictions, the family has decided to have a celebration of Marcel’s life at a later date. Remembrance donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be greatly appreciated.
