It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth Macor (nee Purschke) announce her passing at the age of 92 years. Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister passed peacefully with her children at her bedside. She is now resting in the arms of Jesus for eternity.
Elizabeth, also known as Betty to her family and close friends, was devoted to her faith and raised her family with that great devotion. She was a loving and caring person with a great sense of humor.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her children Colleen (Joe), Linda, Sharon (Joe), Lorraine (Chris), Frank (Maria), Catherine (Shane), Marilyn (Terry); 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and her brother Edward Reinert.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Louis Macor, her parents Anna and Charles Purschke, and her brothers, Francis, Richard, Carl, and Arthur.
Due to Covid, a small intimate prayer service will be held on April 30, 2021 at 7:00 pm at St. Maria Goretti Parish in Devon and her funeral will be held on May 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Catherine’s Parish in Lac La Biche, followed by her interment at the Venice cemetery.
