BAHT: Lucy Catherine (Reeves)
April 14,1926 – June 24,2021
We celebrate the life of Lucy, a source of strength to her family and friends. She grew up during the Depression at their family farm west of Imperial. Both of her parents, Allan and Annie, wanted the best for their eight children. They were proud of their accomplishments and always loved having the families join them for celebrations. Lucy grew up playing cards as a child and continued throughout her life. She played competitive bridge and loved it enough to teach others the art of playing. She worked in Regina for a short time in a munitions factory supporting the soldiers during WW 2. Lucy married William Baht in 1952 and they had three children: Annette, Sharon and Carman. She worked part time at Jack Shore’s, Hill’s Meat Market, the post office and pharmacy. Lucy also loved travelling, gardening, needlepoint and knitting. Her greatest joy up to the end were knowing about the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her family and friends always came first. Lucy is lovingly remembered by Annette (John) and their two children John (Jackie) James and Jessica and Erin (Les) Evan and Alyssa. Lucy’s younger daughter is Sharon (Dale) and their child, Tiara (Dylan) Theda and Luca. She was predeceased by her son, Carman, her husband, Willie and her siblings, Pearl, Edna, Fern, Dave, and Barb. She is survived by her brother, Bert and his wife Sharon, her sister, Irene, sister-in-law, Marie and brother-in-law, Jim. A private service will be held on June 30, 2021.
