It is with great sadness that we announce our beautiful Lucy passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at her residence on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at the age of 61.
Lucy will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother by her sons Marcus and Nicolas Stryland and family Cameron, Angela and Alexandros. Forever remembered by brother and sisters Glen Minnarciano, Terry McNamara and Kim Hubert and her cousins Michelle, Melissa, Darron, Preston, Clarissa, Bronwen Brooke, Clinton, Nicci, Dani and Daniel and their amazing families. Cherished by her nieces and nephews Cassidy and Nicole McDougall, Caiden Hubert and Sean and Dorian McNamara. Dear daughter of Dale (nee Turner) Minnarciano and extraordinary niece of Horace Minnar, Joy Henry, Linda Ambor and Lance Turner. And a truly remarkable and special Canadian ‘cousin’ to our widespread and beautiful South African family.
Lucy will remain forever in the hearts of her dear friends and family. It was always about the quality of time and not the quantity for her. She made it a daily practise to let us know how much she loved and valued our relationships whether she was meeting a friend for coffee or travelling the world.
Lucy now shines in the glory of God with her predeceased and beloved father Glen Sr. Minnarciano, and her wonderful aunts and uncles Nina and Llewelyn Minnarr and Mike and Lorraine Braude and longtime friend Jemma.
To attend the visitation and service for Lucy, personal face coverings are required and relatives and friends must register (RSVP) at www.erbgood.com or by calling the funeral home at 519-745-8445. Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. The Celebration of Lucy’s Life will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. The service will be livestreamed and a link is available at the top of Lucy’s obituary page at www.erbgood.com.
