Louise Ethel Tingley
1953-2021
Louise Ethel Tingley, 68, of Hopewell Cape passed away
peacefully on August 16th, 2021 at the Dr. Georges
L- Dumont Hospital with her family by her side.
Louise was born in Albert on July 4, 1953 the daughter of
the late John D. and Ethel Louise (Lyman)
Steeves.
She was a hard worker and worked at Hub Meat Packers for
over 25 years until they closed. She had a great sense of
humour and laughed a lot. In her younger days she
played Ladies Softball and enjoyed going to dances, she had a lot of
fun. She also enjoyed fishing and took pleasure in teaching her
children and grandchildren how to bait a hook. Louise had a
very strong bond with her family, they always came first.
She was very close to her parents and when her dad passed away she
moved her mom and her brother in with them so they would be
near. She wanted all her family around her and
that’s how she loved it. Her children and grandchildren were
her world. Louise will be remembered for being
small but mighty. She has now gone on to be with
parents and her daughter, Tina, who she will be so happy to be
reunited with. Until we meet again, she will always be in
our hearts.
Louise felt blessed to have her
family, « Being a family means you are a part of
something very wonderful. It means you will love and be loved for the
rest of your life. »
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Mansel Tingley;
son, Donald Steeves of Moncton; daughter, Laura Tingley of Hopewell
Cape; step sons, Roger Tingley (Terry) of Albert Mines and Kevin
Tingley (Tasha) of Fredericton; brother, Sam Steeves of Hopewell Cape;
her precious grandchildren, Samantha (Graham), Daniel, Travis
(Katelyn), Hailey, Hannah and Blaine, Max, Manny, Khloe, John and
Andrew; great-grandchildren, Madisyn, Ryder, Payton, Vincent,
Nicholas, Elaira and Elijah. She will also be missed by all
her extended family and friends.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her beloved
daughter, Tina.
Honouring Louise’s own wishes there will be no visitation
or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held
at the Green Hill Cemetery, Edgett’s Landing at a later
date.
For those who wish donations to the Green Hill Cemetery or
Dr. Georges L-Dumont Hospital Foundation would be greatly
appreciated.
