Loni, aka Loni Lady, left us suddenly yet peacefully on August 21, 2021, surrounded by those she loved and they who loved her. It was a brief and sudden bout with aspiration pneumonia that Loni finally faced, a battle she would not win despite her valiant efforts.
Loni was a gentle soul who touched the heart of everyone she met, in a way unique to each person. She loved music, dancing, her ‘work’, and most of all her people.
Those who will remember and cherish her memory are; mom, Robin & stepdad, Richard; dad, Michel; brother, Lee (Kimberley); nieces: May, daughter of Tracy; Megan, daughter of Kimberley; Popp (Mervin), and her grandfather in NS. There are too many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to mention individually, across Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.
Loni is now free to sing, dance and fly freely, uninhibited by her worldly limitations.
In Loni’s memory, please be kind to someone and offer a helping hand. That is the greatest gift of all.
