Obituary of Lola Bridges
Peacefully at her home on Monday, December 06, 2021, Lola Bridges of Wingham, passed away at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of Winston Bridges. Devoted mother of Randy & Diane Bridges, Karen & Leo Bridges and Lorie & Randy Turner. Loving grandma of John, Erin, Sarah, Darryl, Paul, Kylie, Tiffany, J.J., Lola-Jean, Larrisa, Branden, Joseph and Brittany. Great-grandma of sixteen and great-great-grandma of one. Cherished sister of June Fairhead and Jimmy Platten (Doreen). Sister-in-law of Alfred & Reby Bridges of PEI. Lola will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Gail Collett and ten siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Maitland River Community Church, Wingham with visitation one hour prior. To view the service click here. Proof of vaccination is not required for the service; however, it will be required for the post-funeral luncheon. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing will be in place. Interment will take place on Thursday at Wingham Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
