Obituary of Lois Slumskie
Lois Jean Mary Slumskie (née Keeling) passed away peacefully in her 95th year at Lee Manor, Owen Sound, on May 22, 2021.
Lois is survived by her daughters, Marylou (Karl Kjarsgaard) of Nanton, Alberta, and Terry Lee of Owen Sound; her daughter-in-law Patricia (née Reid) of Baden; granddaughters Megan Haller (James) of Waterloo, Lauren (Melvin Arzaga) of Baden; great grandson Dominic of Baden, great granddaughter Nora of Waterloo. Also survived by her brother Ken (Mary) Keeling of Sarnia, sister Pat Waugh (née Keeling) of Owen Sound, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois is predeceased by her husband, Ernest Albert (Bert) Slumskie and son, William Douglas Slumskie. Also predeceased by her parents, Elgin Alan Keeling and Mary Wallace Fenton of Owen Sound; brothers J.H., Elgin Jr, Mike, Alex Keeling and sister June (Keeling) Smith.
Interment in Greenwood Cemetery where a small graveside ceremony will be held on May 27, 2021. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy should be made as donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lee Manor Residents Fund, Owen Sound. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E.
