ALLEN, Lois Dulcie (nee Chamberlain) of Belleville
Lois passed away on November 6, 2021 in her 88th year after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. She touched so many lives with her kindness and joy of life and her strong, giving spirit endures through our treasured memories.
Loving partner of the late Norm Post of Belleville. Beloved wife of the late James Allen of Peterborough. Loving mother of Steven Allen (deceased), James Allen Jr. of Peterborough, Lori Allen of Calgary, Alberta and Kim Miller (Jim) of Hastings. Forever loved by special grandson Aaron Deck. Fondly remembered by the Post Family; Joanne & Jerry VanDerVlag of Madoc, Debbie & Colin Ollerhead of Carrying Place, Ken & Heather Post of Washago. Dear sister to Doris Hall (Henry), Donald Chamberlain (Halina) and is predeceased by sisters Evelyn Hopkins (Cecil), Velda Brinklow (Carl) and brothers Clifford Chamberlain (Cora) and Clarence Chamberlain (Margory). Also predeceased by her parents William & Wealthy Chamberlain(Chrysler). Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Friends and Family are invited to attend a visitation at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 12th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. (Due to capacity limitations, all those wishing to attend the funeral service are asked to pre-register by calling the funeral home at 613-968-5588 between the hours of 9-4:30 p.m.). Lois will be laid to rest alongside her late husband Jim at the Rosemount Memorial Gardens in Peterborough immediately following the funeral service on Friday at 2:00 p.m., all are welcome to attend a brief graveside service. If desired, memorial donations are requested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Montreal.
