Obituary for
Lloyd Roy Johnson
Lloyd Roy Johnson – Age 76, of Bible Hill passed away on January 5, 2021 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre after a year’s journey with cancer and under the loving care of his family and health support team.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Charlene; his children, Janine (James), Justin (Jen) and Belinda (Scott); his grandchildren, Hope, Alex, Marissa and Gary and their children; his siblings, Mary, Margaret (Merle Rushton), Ralph, Dave (Bonnie), Jim (Kathy) and Mike; many nieces and nephews as well as in-laws; all of whom he loved dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents, Delia and Wesley (Sam) Johnson; brother, Kenneth Sr.; nephew, Kenneth Jr.; and close family members including Carol Johnson, Doug Roy, Hans Waringer, Doris, Charles and Adele Crowe.
Lloyd enjoyed the company of his friends and family; as well as his dog, Molly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Donations in Lloyd’s memory may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 1st at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. with April Hart, student minister officiating. Interment directly following in Crossroad Cemetery, Valley, N.S.
