Lisa Dawn Fearon 19612021

Lisa Dawn Fearon
1961-2021
It is with heavy hearts that
we share the passing of Lisa Fearon, 59, at her home in Moncton,
following a courageous battle with cancer since March, 2020. Lisa was
the daughter of Esther (Comeau) Fearon of Moncton and the late Austin
Fearon (2015). She will be sadly missed by her partner, Ted Ehrhardt
of Moncton, her mother, brothers Bill Fearon (Jamie-Lynn Nassr) of
Grand Digue, NB and David Fearon (Monique) of Little Harbour, NS as
well as her sister, Mary Fearon-Keys (Dave Keys) of Hanwell, NB. She
also leaves to mourn her aunts Albertine, Ola and Eunice. Never having
had children of her own, Lisa cherished her nieces and nephews and
their growing families with all her heart. They all regarded her as
their favourite Auntie.
Lisa led a life of commitment
to her family and her many friends, with special mention of her
lifelong buddies since early childhood, Dr. Karen Murphy of Shediac
and Esther Cormier of Ottawa. Lisa loved her neighbourhood where she
looked forward to regular gatherings with a group of women, also known
as « The Wenches », to share good food, good wine and lots of
fun and laughter. She was an amazing cook, sharing her prized rhubarb
muffins with her co-workers and anybody who came through her door. Her
pies were classic and unbeatable in appearance and taste to say the
least.
Following graduation from NBCC
Moncton, Lisa’s career began and ended as a Legal
Administrative Assistant. She was employed the better part of this
time with Bingham Law, in Moncton.
Lisa was also a Partylite rep
since 1995. She was rewarded many times over with travel and numerous
repeat customers. During her noon hours from work, you could find her
at the gym where she led spin classes with a great group of people.
Often referred to as the « Dog Whisperer », Lisa was a loving
caregiver to many canine friends over the years. She cherished each
and every one of them as if they were her
own.
From a young age, Lisa
travelled to many places throughout Canada, the US, Mexico, the
Caribbean, Hawaii and Europe. Never having studied photography, Lisa
had a very keen eye for taking photos. Several of her framed photos
have left her family with enduring memories of her many adventures.
She was a sports enthusiast, especially when it came to tennis and her
favourite, Roger Federer. She and Ted travelled within Canada and
Europe to follow tennis matches and tour the local areas. They were
looking forward to many more adventures. Locally, together, they
enjoyed supporting the Fisher Cats, even travelling to many out of
town games. Lisa developed a passion for downhill skiing at local
hills, eventually conquering some of the major ski runs in Europe. She
and Ted seldom missed the weekly movies at « Far Out East
Cinema ». Lisa generously supported many organizations including
SIDAAIDS, Headstart and the Capital Theatre. She
wouldn’t miss a Jesse Cook concert and introduced many
friends and family to his music.
A true testament of who Lisa
was as a person, co-worker and friend became quite evident with the
outpouring of love, prayers and support throughout her illness. The
numerous cards, floral arrangements, gifts, food and visits were
appreciated whole-heartedly.
We would like to thank the
incredible Oncology Staff, including Dr. Robyn Comeau and Dr. Joel
Gray at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital. A special thank you to Extra
Mural (Driscoll Unit), for their professional palliative care and
support throughout these last few months. The regular visits from
Suzanne and Joanie were paramount in Lisa’s care as well as
the support that was provided to us as her
caregivers.
Cremation has been entrusted
to Fergusons Funeral Home at 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton, NB (858-1995).
Online condolences for the family may be shared on the Fergusons
