Linnie’s Obituary
Penney, Linnie E. 85 years of Southside passed away peacefully, on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Born on Cape Island, she was a daughter of the late Morton & Ruth (Nickerson) Crowell.
Linnie worked for Sable Fish Packers for several years. She loved bowling. Linnie loved spending time with her family.
Linnie is survived by her children, Darlene Stevens (David) of Calgary, AB, Randolph of Southside, Mark of Clam Point, Yolanda Penney of Truro, Marina Nickerson of Halifax, Darren of Shelburne, Michelle Penney of Ontario, Melanie Strang (Shawn) of Saskatchewan; several grandchildren, many great grandchildren , one great great grandson and one great great granddaughter.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Roy, son, Anthony, siblings, Alfred, Rudolph, Walton, Dora, Mildred and Rupert
Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. Visitation will be held Monday, October 25, from 6-8 pm at the H.M. Huskilsons Funeral Home, Barrington. Due to Covid 19 restrictions proof of vaccination will be required to attend the visitation and service.
A graveside Service will be held at White Lilly Cemetery on Tuesday, October 26 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be sent to huskilson@ns.aliantzinc.ca or you may sign the guest book at www.huskilson.net
