It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stephen Henry Lindop announces his passing on March 28, 2021.
Born in Victoria, British Columbia, on February 20, 1954 to Stuart and Kathleen Lindop, Stephen leaves behind his brother Mark (Ginette), sister Mary-Ellen (Ron), sister Monica (Paul), brother Chris (Laurie-Ann), and brother David (Wendy); his children Adrienne, Ian (Dominique), and Zachary (Nina); and his grandchildren Nora and Emily.
Stephen was a man of action and passionate supporter of his family, friends, and causes to make the world a better place (of which there were many). As a devoted Christian, Stephen dedicated his life to the ideal of “Service Above All Else”. True to his nature, Stephen was a fighter to the end. The family finds solace and comfort knowing that he is now reunited with his Creator, whom he served with all of his being while with us.
The family would like to thank the Grey Nuns hospital for caring for Stephen to the best of their abilities for the final 95 days of his life. The family would also like to thank everyone for their love, prayers and support over the past days, weeks, and months, which not only helped us refortify our strength and faith, but which also undoubtedly had a transcendent impact on Stephen as he fought on and ultimately found peace.
