Obituary of Lillian Lorene Stroud

Stroud, Lillian Lorene, 98 of the Valley View Villa, Riverton formerly of Plymouth passed away on Saturday August 21, 2021 in the villa .
Born in Woodburn she was a daughter of the late James and Pearl (Russell) Hayden.
Lillian was an active member of Christ Anglican Church, Stellarton where she was a member of the ACW and the church choir. She was a member of the Silver Light Rebeka Lodge and also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Lillian worked at Glen Haven Manor and Sunset Haven along where she worked in home care.
Surviving are her children Hazel Mae (Robert “Bob”) Burrows, Peterborough ON; Verna Marlene Cameron (Allister Scott), Pictou Landing Rd; Theodore “Allen” (Catherine Anne) Stroud, Lower Mt. William; Freeman Scott Stroud (Elizabeth), Lower Road, Pictou Landing; 6 grandchildren; 6 great- grandchildren, a brother James Hayden, Woodburn .
Lillian was predeceased by her husband Theodore “Dimp”, sisters: Irene and Bessie, brothers: Ross, Lloyd and a brother in infancy.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions her services will be celebrated privately at the H.W. Angus Funeral home, New Glasgow.
Burial will be in Church Brook Cemetery, Little Harbour, Pictou County.
