Obituary of Lillian Evans
Passed away peacefully at Mauno Kaihla Koti, Ontario Finnish Rest Home with her children by her side, on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the age of 87. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Tom. Cherished mother of Wendy Posteraro (Mario) and Trevor Evans. Proud Grandma of Evan & Aaron Posteraro and Owen & Lily Evans. Daughter of the late Lillian and late Bernard Cushley. Dear sister of the late Bernard Cushley (late Bernadine), late Jean Burke (late Martin), Pat Mick (Jimmie) and the late Jack Cushley (Ann). Daughter-in-law of the late Thomas Evans and the late Dorine Paul (late Mike). Sister-in-law of the late Harry Evans (late Pauline) and Darline Brunette (Raymond). A private Graveside Service will be held. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the exceptional staff at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home, MKK, for being mom’s extended family. For that we are forever grateful, and it did not go unnoticed.
