Lillian’s Obituary
DOANE, Lillian Irene (Deinstadt) – 92 of Roseway passed away peacefully on November 3rd with family by her side. Lillian was the last surviving child of the late Clarence and Bertha (McKay) Deinstadt. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed dearly by her family.
Lillian enjoyed preparing for family gatherings, gardening, long walks and knitting for the family. She never missed a family members birthday and you could always expect to receive a cake and on Valentines Day each member a cupcake.
She is survived by sons; Barry (Sheila), Kevin (Shelly), daughters; Brenda (Roger), Karen (Ken) and Carla (Anthony), grandchildren; Randy, Shelley, Rachel, Cody, Matthew, Marina, Mark, Sarah, Hailey, Dustin, William (B.J.), Jesse, Colby, Jayme; great-grandchildren; Sadie, Seth, Harley, Claire, Luke, Callie, Ryland, Sylas, Aydan, Alexander, Elizabeth, Austin, Abigail and Lucas, along with many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Clare Davis Doane, granddaughter; Miranda, brothers; Gordon Deinstadt, Kenneth Deinstadt, sisters; Thelma Mahaney and Gladys Perry.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. As per Lillian’s request and with the current Covid-19 restrictions a private family graveside will take place in the Roseway Cemetery at a later date. Donations in her memory can be made to the Ingomar / Roseway Fire Department, or the Roseway Hospital. On-line condolences for the family may be left at www.huskilson.net
