It is with deep sadness we announce the
passing of Levi Joseph LeBlanc, age 83,
of Sackville, NB. Levi passed away on Thursday, December 23,
2021 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Sackville, he was a son of the
late Amos and Alvina (Melanson) LeBlanc.
Levi was an avid gardener. He
was a very hard worker and loved to cut and pile his own
wood. He had a lifelong love of the Montreal
Canadians. He has been a friend of Bill W for almost 50
years. He looked forward to taking trips to the Island to
attend the Horse Races, or watch them on television.
He is survived by his children, Danny
(Kerri), Denis (Stacey), Darlene (Ray Cormier) Estabrooks, and Denise
(Brian) Wry, all of Sackville; a son-in-law, Leigh Estabrooks,
Sackville; eight grandchildren, Amanda (David) Beal, Colt, Jessie,
Jordan, Amy (Grant) Palmeter, Matthew, Sebastian, and Noah; seven
great grandchildren, Skyler, Peyton, Hannah, Keenan, Maddison,
Jackson, and Bryor; brothers Leonard (Beatrice) and Edgar (Gloria),
both of Sackville; as well as several nieces and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife
Evangeline « Vangie » in 2019; sister Irene Estabrooks;
brothers Charles, Henry, Emile, Ronald and Rene.
Arrangements are under the care and
supervision of Jones Funeral Home, 70
Bridge Street, Sackville (506-364-1300). A time of
visitation at the funeral home followed by mass at St. Vincent’s Roman
Catholic Church will be held in early January and will be announced on
the funeral home website.
Donations may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society or a charity of the one’s choice.
