She obtained her teaching certificate at the University of Alberta and finished her education at the University of British Columbia. She taught many years for Edmonton Public Schools as a teacher and librarian. Lettie volunteered her time to the Arthritis Society, and to Grandview Long Term Care. She will be remembered for her love of reading, especially children’s literature, opera, her dog Kirsty, stitching needlepoint canvases, and spending time at the cottage at Pigeon Lake.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rutherford Heights Retirement Residence and Capital Care Grandview for the care provided to Lettie. Your care and compassion will always be remembered.
Due to COVID 19, there will be no formal service at this time. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her name to the Arthritis Society.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Letitia Coffin 2021..
