Obituary of Leona Steeves
Peacefully at the Southampton Care Centre in Southampton, on Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Leona Marie Steeves (nee Osborne), of Southampton and formerly of Paisley, at the age of 82 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Allan Steeves (2012) and the late Edward Gillan (1975). Loving mother of Darlene Gillan, Leonard Gillan (Andrea), Terry Gillan Sr. (Shantel) and Edward Gillan. Proud grandmother of Terry Jr. (Nina), Julie, Tyler (Alina), Jason and great-grandmother of Alexandria, Jessie and Aaliah. Dear sister of Shirley. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Sarah Osborne and her siblings, Leonard, Gloria, Rita, Madeline and Jean.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Southampton Care Centre who were angels, to the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Port Elgin and to the staff at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home for all their care and compassion.
Due to Covid 19, there will not be any service at this time.
