Léo-Paul Cormier, 67, passed away suddenly
on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at Castel des Flots Bleus,
Cap-Pelé formerly of Cap-Pelé. Born at George
Dumont, he was the son of the late Ernest and
Hélène (Dupuis) Cormier. Before his
retirement, he was a local fisherman.
He is survived
by his two children: Samuel (Jennifer) Cormier of Trenton, ON
and Solange (Jonathan) Brault of Cantley, QC; two brothers: Irois
Cormier (Joanne) and Roland (late Phyllis Cormier) all of
Cap-Pelé; four grandchildren: Irland, Aubrey,
Drake and Leighton; as well as many nieces and
nephews.
The family will receive
condolences at Frenette Funeral and Cremation Centre, 2642, Acadie
Road, Cap-Pelé, on Thursday,
September 16, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm
Only. At the
familys request, face covering are required, and social distincing
regulations are in effect.
The
funeral mass will be held at the Ste-Thérèse
d’Avila R. C. church, 2648 chemin Acadie Road, Cap-Pelé on
Friday, September 17th, 2021 at 10:30am. At the
family’s request, face coverings are required, and social
distancing regulations are in
effect.
In memory of
Léo-Paul, a contribution to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be
appreciated.
Cremation and
funeral arrangements are under the direction of Frenette Funeral and
