Obituary of Laura Lee Elizabeth Foskett
Laura-Lee was born in Uranium City to Max and Albertine Roy. She spent her childhood in Stony Rapids with her siblings. She loved swimming in her purple wool bikini and always had her own taste in fashion. She moved to Saskatoon where she worked hard serving. She was outgoing and outspoken. She loved to meet new people and made friends everywhere she went. She was a favourite among old folks and elders.
Laura-Lee raised three children, Sabrina, Daniel, and Jamie-Lee. She was a loving mother but thrived as a grandma and great grandmother to Tristen, Tessa, Adrian, Maverick, Tyler, Tobias, and Tristen JR often teaching them to cook, bake, or plant flowers. She was a favourite aunt and like a second mom to many.
Laura-Lee was an amazing cook, often making big family meals at Christmas time. She would offer a plate to anyone in need. Besides cooking she loved the sunshine and heat, she would sit outside all day long sun bathing and brag about how she can tolerate the heat. She blasted music from morning till night, Rod Stewart being her favourite. She had a green thumb and her home was always surrounded by beautiful flower beds.
Laura-Lee was a spitfire, she told you how it was whether you liked that or not. She was unapologetically herself and had a heart of gold. She was always an encouraging and supportive voice, and loved unconditionally. She had an infectious laugh and you knew every time she entered the room. She was silly, jolly and full of life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local food bank.
Laura-Lee leaves many to mourn her, she will be dearly missed.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Laura
