Obituary
« Have you heard this one….? »
Born in Saskatchewan, and raised in Chilliwack B.C.
Predeceased by parents William and Erna Poulson, sister Marion Poulson, wife Betty Poulson (married since 1964) and son Larry Poulson
Survived by sister Doreen Peters, children Lauri Paul (Dean), Lisa Poulson (Donnie) and Laine Poulson, nieces Leslie Schulte, Sandy Hamilton, Mona Friesen, and nephew Brian Peters
A fun and caring papa to his grandchildren Lara Poulson, Quinn Paul and Marin Paul.
Son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Navy veteran, entrepreneur, inventor, (so many business endeavours it would fill pages!)
He liked to wine, dine and dance.
He loved the outdoors, fishing and playing crib.
Telling jokes and sharing his ideas were always front and center, especially when meeting someone new.
A highly sensitive, complicated man with a generous core.
Love him or hate him, you won’t forget him!
This past year he was living at the West Shore Laylum care residence and he brought them some joy through music. He became the DJ playing the good ole tunes. I know this made him happy to see others liking his music and listening to his jokes.
Rest in peace dad (Papa). You lived a full life of inspired adventures, hard work, play and making memories.
You are loved and we see you dancing with mom.
Give a little, take a little, laugh a little, cry a little
let your poor heart break a little ….
And when the world is through with us
We’ve got each other’s arms
That’s the story of
that’s the glory of love – Dean Martin
